After months of anticipation, and a near-constant stream of music and videos – a slow drip of Twitter demos, live streams from the recording studio, a series of stripped-down video performances of album tracks, and more – Myspace Music is exclusively premiering the latest LP from Danish noir-rockers The Raveonettes. In And Out Of Control, their fourth overall, and second for Vice Records, was recorded this summer with Thomas Troelsen at Delta Lab in Copenhagen, Denmark. From the streaking guitars and saccharine melody of lead leak “Suicide,” to the buoyant but macabre pop of “Last Dance,” the album is easily the Raveonettes most accessible record to date, largely eschewing the noise of Lust Lust Lust for clearer focus and some truly memorable songs.
